Took the bike out to an old pal for a new wheel bearing and a bit of TLC, pre MOT. This being 13 km away, I came back on the bus. First time on a proper bus for yrs., and it was free....bus pass used for the first time.

What a gorgeous day. Hope there's a lot more where this came from. Got the bike back. Bearing was wrecked, one of the balls being ejected as an unrecognisable bit of swarf. Man tells me I was very lucky. Did a few miles and, elated, ordered more Goldwater, Vav, Brancott and Waimera PG.
