The Chancellor is bound to jack-up duty for wine luvvers from midnight tonight. However you good folks here - I have it confirmed that Majestic price lists are printed, and prices for current stock today, will be the same until May. We have to live with the VAT hike though  Will this be forevermore ?

Not bound ! Duty increases are deferred until next year :)  Excellent news.
Did wine merchant directors know in advance ? Only the big players perhaps. |
