Will do. I was initially put off by the age but the rear label recommends aging and so does the winemakers TN. Just reaching its peak? We shall see.

Well, I’ve never come across a PN that tastes of elderberry, until now. Powerful nose, sweet and earthy, quite a mouthful, rich and sweet with some bitter cherry, dry elderberry in the finish with oak showing, a touch hot at 14%.

An interesting and intense wine, one of those wines that will taste different every time you open a bottle. I would buy one or two more out of curiosity. I may not have given it justice as my taste buds were a little shot from the previous evenings beer festival. I dont think there is any aging potential left in this '05 tho as it fell flat on day two.

I would'ave liked to have tried it. That elderberry earthy bitter cherry and oak propped pinot sounds like a Saint Romaine emulator.
GK, it had a different personality, and for that, it gets some points in my book.
