This morning on start up the old girl went berzerk. Opening tens of copies of several progs until going into sleep mode as completely overloaded. Refused to start in safe mode. After all my efforts I was crestfallen (euphemism). Much blood sweat & tears with clickings and typings did nothing. Calm down, more coffee, engage what's left of brain. Ha! dug out an old keyboard and swapped it for my nice wireless one. Worked. The keyboard was permanently generating random characters. Probably due to the slug of Vavasour that's in it. Bah!

Shhh! you'll upset her. Other than all those nasties (which she came thru) she has hardly missed a beat in 5 yrs. Was "part used" even then. And she can't be blamed for some idiot pouring MSB into her and the fact that it is obviously conductive. Got a new keyboard / mouse today and some Reach '10

Seems that all my machinations have put so much pressure on the dear old hard drive that it crashed during yet another download. Been at my man's for 3 days and now been phoenixed. Loads of settings to alter etc. but breathing again. Wheee!
