Ive been giving this some thought, if I can I'll list my drinks for over the holiday period. Its an unusual day for us this year, we're having a light, early lunch and then going out to friends in the evening for drinks and games etc. so I'll be taking it easy in the day and probably just having a beer. The evening however.... I'll be back. |

If Mrs Shez decides to leave you between now and 25th, just let me know. Love your selection. Actually, if that does happen, can we change to Tawny port? |

Not thought about this yet, some of you are well prepared ex cubs/scouts I guess !! Will dive down in the cellar at the weekend and select 3 white and 6 reds for Christmas eve night and christmas day. I will take a special red for Chirstmas eve to share with Pops and the rest for the family on the 25th. Fizz has been arranged already though. Will report back once I have decided. |

I now have some Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits 'Les Mouchottes' 2007 and Bouchard Pere et Fils Fleurie 09 as Old World alternative for Dinner. Will either of these be up to the task? Would aslo like a 1er cru to impress the in laws. Can anyone recommend anything? |

I cleared a shelf last night and lined up the following for over the holiday- Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon ‘05 Domaine Jean Claude Martin Chablis ‘08 Morton Estate MSB ‘10 Jacobs Creek Steingarten Riesling ‘07 Chateaux Senejac ‘04 Adega de Pegões Colheita Seleccionada Tinto ’03 (Portugal, happy memories) Vigna della Monache Salice Salentino Riserva '06 (Italy) Warres ’95 LBV Apostoles Palo Corado 30yo Sherry Aberlour 10yo Malt Collection of bottled real ales. Im just short of one red, a NW Pinot, something different. I was given a M&S gift card for my birthday this week, my local store stocks the Saddleback Pinot Noir, any thoughts on this? If not, a red Burgundy, will see what they have. |
