Dunc,

I registered a long time ago and have never ordered from them !!
Got this email today,so thought I would try and order them expecting it to say sorry you missed out !! Just got order confirmation as well.

Register and wait 18 mths !!

"Dear Richard,

We're fascinated by you

So we're offering 6 bottles for free for your feedback.

You had a voucher from one of our best partners and were interested enough to come and have a look, but you didn't buy anything.

It's the classic Chicken and Egg, so we're removing the Egg

You need to try the wines before you know if they're any good. But you won't buy them if you don't know they're going to be good!

We'll give you 6 bottles of wine FREE because we really want to know what you think. All we ask is that you pay the taxes and delivery (£16.28). Only the first 50 people to respond can order at this price.

You've got nothing to lose

We're paying for the wine so if you don't like it you've had 6 bottles for free and that's the end of it. If you did, we'd love to hear what you thought of them.

There's absolutely no obligation to buy again (although we'd love it if you did!)

Order your 6 free bottles here.

Cheers,
Rowan, Founder
Naked Wines

p.s. please don't forward this to a friend. This case can only be bought on your account, because it's you we're interested in!

A very pleasant note to you Richard. Are you fascinating ? - Not pushy either. Many folks respect a soft Sell.

Well Richard - let us know how they go.

Dunc,

Didnt expect to get them at that price !! Really thought it was going to say sorry sold out but you can order these instead at £100.00 etc.

The Cristia looks interesting, will report back next week once I have tried one. Lets hope they arrive tomorrow as stated.

Made my day !!

I too signed up a couple or so years ago. The web page was just about unusable they messed me about, so other than the opening offer I have not purchased again.

Chaps,

Brief notes on three drunk over the weekend.

Brewery Hill Shiraz 2008
Typical Aussie JAM monster 14% and its feels even more alcoholic than that.
Very hot and fruity with a long finish nice strong nose of sweet berries.
It takes your breath away being so strong/heavy though !! No change on day two.
12/20

Domaine Cristia Grenache Syrah 2009
Compared with the Aussie this is much softer and rounded but lacks any complexity ok nose of earth short length tasted much better wines for similar money. An OK drinker mid-week. Improved on day two though.
14/20

Classic South Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Not a SB fan so here goes,
Elderflower or cats pee nose interesting as I dont drink SB so its different to my usual whites.
Very sharp zingy lime very crunchy with a good finish.
A little two dimensional for me though but
The best of the three so far.
15/20

Hope your weekend drinking was more sucessful than mine !!
Regards
Richard
