Audiophile here, francophile when drinking good burgundy.

Acoustics were wonderful for that '04 concert. Much more engaging and melifluous than the original in the studio. The quality of the harmony being maturity, and the very best of traditional methods for amplification. I note they are using heavy leads to their microphones, probably silver coated copper core to analogue amplifiers with multi core electro-magnetic cone speakers for their PA.

For sound, I'm not a digital fan, except in the micro environment. My ears are analoque. I have a mini cone ported woofer for my computer, but the sound card is a bit naff :wink:

Lovely stuff.

The only ball-sports I watch these days are bowls, american football and (when the tv cos can afford it) baseball.
