Not bad GK, However I went for the superior offer from Tony Laithwaite for the same money. Superior, because I rate the 2009 vintage in Marlborough over '08, AND ......the Hawkes Bay and Nelson wineries offered by Laithy were the oldest established in NZ .....mature vineyards means (less possibility of MONKEY BAY clones) 
That offer does include the Te Muna though, but since I'd scored '09 Te Muna from the lovely Majestic folks - no contest. Hope you had a good week-end Mr Wolf |

They're getting rid of overstocked 2009s (and yow!!, 4*08 in M&S) -- making way for 2010 Wine Soc also just published SB mixed case offer. I bought last year and was intending to do so this year but am underwhelmed by the wines on offer and the price. Problem with M&S and Laithwaites is the funny names they use to hide the origin of their wines. |
