Is that the CB500?

I passed my test on a CG125, promised myself I would get a 500 one day but never got around to it.

'deed it is.
Insurance on the way via web, getting jacket/hat on the w/e. Should be all legal and dressed when the tax kicks in on the first.

This is interesting. Am just coming round to feeling better after last Tuesday's chemo, and I thought I was mended, but am unable to come up with a suitable comment ref the Red that you love. It's a boy thing, isn't it. Have found the perfect colour for my front door, so I nearly understand you. A pale, duck-egg blue. An absolute devil to track down.

I have a blue duck-egg pail, will that do?

Ok, the pail.

50% off sale on at Laura Ashly home and paints

Mel, as you may know, they carry quite an interesting range of natural looking country colours in very pale hues, but no pale duck egg in a UV tollerating external gloss I'm affraid.

If you didn't know, you may be interested in this sale though, for internal eggshells.

Glad you're feeling a bit better, nearly mended.

Wear gypsy moth goggles then.

But you still hanker after the 64 Velo 500 TT.

the single pot with overhead cam, folks know you're coming

The CB500 is a very good bike Ba - It'll last you out, if you look after it. Have you checked out it's service provenance - Of course you have.

Sorry, you're not going to Glastonbury on the bike - stuck till next Thursday  You like the gold rims ?

Very distinctive clatter. Always fancied a viscious viper or venom, but not the "vomit"...that grey thing that the rozzers used.

You may jest about the DEB, but when you want it outside, on a south-facing white house, it has to be pretty damned colourful, to look pale, so it's easy to buy the right colour in the shop, which turns practically white outside. Also, matchpots are matt emulsion and the door will be gloss. It's tricky.

No jesting here, the colour will be different in the winter light, it's NEARLY as complicacted as a fine wine to find the right one.

Spent hours removing paint by hand with chisels and curved scrappers from the moldings of a lovely victorian door with intricate stained and leaded glass windows all around the frame. You couldn't use caustic chemical - the wood and the grain would be spoilt and bleached, plus all the fish glued joinery would be wrecked.

Removed the paint along with that problem :)

Ah yes, the J753ID
Looked into a phpBB paint forum yesterday for you. The language of paint and their reference numbers and their differing vintages and hues over the years is similar to Cote d'Or.

No kidding.

It's not the colour of the square, but the colour that it is on the wall in the picture. Mmmm.
