A friend of mine is involved in Oxford Gastronomica and has asked me to post a link to their site. The content is potentially of interest to any wine lover and I reckon the three day residential wine course would make someone a very nice present. Just an idea.

Some interesting stuff in there Mel.

Tasting Culture in particular. The Languedoc with Caroline Conran is an enjoyable summary of how their way of life, and the ruggedness of their terraine, then translates into their cuisine.

I'm always keen to know a decent minervois, a wine quite popular in the early 70's and then a dramatic fall off in quality drove many drinkers away from that style.
