:o Funny you mention this.
In 1999 I saw a cellar offer advertised in a wine shop in the Netherlands. "Sherry bottled in 1900 for sale".
Bought three bottles for less than £30 (equiv.).
Gave one away and we opened and tasted it on millennium night.
Not quite an utter cracker, but quite special it was, creamy too.
Plus the idea that the people who bottled the stuff were long dead,
and the typewriter that produced the text on those labels would have been antique.
