Post subject:  Off-Piste of Tunbridge Wells

Today, having browsed their website, I drove 5 miles to a large Tesco. Along with some other stuff, I intended to buy between 18 and 30 bottles of wine. Five of the six in which I was interested were yawning chasms on the shelves. All out of stock. I left without buying anything. Someone needs a kick in the ***.

Tunbridge Wellians are a canny lot.

Ba -whilst we're all getting sozzled, listening to speculating pundits talking about basic maths on the swing ometer, you're talking about kicking our own arses when the stock has been cleared  .

We talk about wines that are good candidates today, and our readers rush out and bag them before we've had time to proof read our posting.

Alternatively, the conclusions we come to are also being analysed by a whole bunch of wine luvvers who are quicker to the pole than us. 1st past the post gets the wine on the shelf.

Marginals - Margin gains and buyers losses.....The big retailers drill down on the offers that will pull in wine luvvers and withdraw stock half way through the campaign. This way they move 3rd choices at discount, and then sell a quantity of the best candidates at full price just after the end of the campaign !

Dunno.... Ba, whose ass are you kicking ? Gotta to be fast past the post.

Time for another glass. Bed at midnight for me.

The hedge fund traders are re-opening for business at 1:00 am.
