I’m off to the annual Spring Beer & Wine Festival tonight, there's a decent Blue's Guitarist on and the Pork Pies never fail to impress.

Beer List, what ya think? They haven’t put up a wine list, expect it to be mostly UK produced.

I'll be on the plot for most of tomorrow, with a fat head no doubt.

It was a good night, KD was firing on the old guitar and the ale flowed freely but I took it easy, Sat morn was no real challenge- got lots done on the plot.

A friend called a last minute BBQ last night, I think the weekend caught up with me because I felt like S**t this morning. Im having a few days off the vino, need to recharge the batteries.

What a lovely weekend it has been, great weather. I made a spicy parsnip sheherds pie today, ya cant beat parsnips straight out the ground, even better when you cook them with a few Indian spices.

Who is KD ? sounds like a good night, looked at those beers, know just one or two, more particularly Hooky, which can be good when very fresh from the barrel. Excellent Veg Plot weather, but have overdone it a bit, digging out and composting potatoe trenches too quickly. Mangetout sewn in a compost trench and not a weed in sight - well hardly. Suddenly it is a cold evening here, wind has gone NE.

GK....I didn't think that kitten looked like a bear with a sore head !

Also GK, have you tried your Belleruche '07 CdR Villages from M. Chapoutier yet ? Stocks of '07 are low at Maj, so I ought to know if someone has given it a thumbs up. We're having shepherds tonight, a vegetarian version. Foyle's War is on again - so must dash.

I forgot to tape Foyle, plus the 9pm two parter on BBC1. Am irritated with myself and have no time to do iplayer or whatever.

Just done Dr Who. Not as good as the first week, but am loving Matt Smith. Not LOVING, but loving.

KD (Kent Duchaine) was the delta-blues guitarist/singer performing that night, More info here.

Re. Belleruche, not opened it yet, have removed it from the rack and stood it on my 'next to drink' shelf, will open by the weekend.

Yes, Amelia Pond definitely a fox, which balances MS not being, but he is wonderfully odd. Attractively odd.
