Mel, no offense meant to our Chinese friends Reading the textbooks, internet translation is dire. It is the sound of the language at anything approaching raised voice level, that will give you and other MW folks a headache - Which sound or the corresponding adjective to describe such, is the opposite of Melifluous ? |
