I predicted Nyetimber would be a big brand killer with riper fruit.
The very warm 2003 Autumn and resulting vintage did provide the lift to the fruit that the terroir always could give in the right conditions -Kimmeridgian sedimentary shales from billions of shells under immense compression.

2001 was quite cool in Sussex, but 2003 did the trick - no need for any fruit under glass.
I love Nyetimber as well - More very warm Autumns, and more awards for those growers who have worked so hard there.
As with Mel, if income were no object, I'd like to move-up to premier cru from time to time.Well Done Nyetimber
