Right, let's get serious about this. The font doesn't marry for it to be Les. The E looks like a backwards € and the L is very upright. It's also as fuzzy as hell, but that could be magnification. We currently think that the large white square is the whole label and this just the top left corner, which is clearly not the case, as Ba is clearly pulling our plonkers (or legs in my case). So, which is the red herring? Am suggesting this might be the tiny writing at the bottom of a label and the colour may have been tampered with. Ba, is this something we've all drunk/discussed/seen. In fact, is it a wine label in the sense of an alcoholic drink made solely from the fermented juice of grapes? Or is it the name of a brand of playing cards. |

Think these are getting a bit beyond difficult now. Unless its a commonly discussed bottle/brand, having snippets of a few letters is a bit of an ask... Any idea is doing something like this easy example where we remove the name/obvious identifiers from label: (and yes I know its east to see this a rosemount, it was just an example) |

The file name is: 288t4wn mag it up, and the background is a dirty and very dark french navy - perhaps dark pantone The small e is actually a wingdings type character, could be a trendy E more like an old english font it could be a modern version of this & So the name in this forum font could be HANDEL & sons, therefore not a french wine. The letters are too close, has to be Les of which there are hundred of wines and domaine names. too obscure |

Sir, in pursuit of knowledge - Can you please let us know, which wine producer uses this image of the Lady Godiva twin, the Mermaid on the Bicyle, with the mediteranean angel fish. From an artistic analysis, it is quite an odd mix of classic and surealism, and probably opium. Cycles Gladiator ? A font design used in Europe before 1st World War. Has a very early Salvador D. look about it The bike, much like an early Peugeot design OK Google it: - and we see American Merlot, Cycles Gladiator, Central Coast. A winery south of Napa on the Californian Coast 9 Boulevarde Montmartre |

Its a Californian brand, they do a Pinot and Chard, plus others. How did I miss this on the Waitrose website? I went through all the wines... IIRC, this wine was banned in one of the US bible states, the label was classed as offensive. I think its based on an old French bike advert. |

Gladiator is the make of bike and the pic was banned in Alabamy. The fuzziness comes from the clouds. |

have had the Cycles Gladiator in the past and think somme of their offerings are pretty good ....But for the love of God Ba, how is anyone meant to know that one ???? I doubt even the designer of the label/owner of the Vineyard would have got that. Surely you got to be showing the maidens head with the flowing red hair or something to make it humanly possible to get ! What next ? a picture of a full stop ??? |
