No not Chanson, which is a Blue Times or similar font on a white background.

Probably Lanson Black label shampoo - I'll go and have a look in a minute to check the font.

Yep Lanson

The font round the neck of the bottle next door, and on each side of the By Appointment emblem, a neck scarf or neck tie around the neck of the bottle - Upright Times - the letter N has the same seruphs (spelling)

OK.

Back to work here. You can take your coat off now GK.

yeah, isn't lanson font more of a script type and in italics ?

I initially thought it was Jackson estate (even before I read you printed it upside down) but then if its from thee label you'd have had to make the colours negative too

(Unless of course you took it from the header of their website:http://www.jacksonestate.co.nz/ ;))

The neck of the bottle Shez - look at the neck band. I have this in stock.

Look to the left of the By Appointment emblem - biggest Lanson bottle image I could find.

If not the right answer ? My answer fits GK's image 8)

fair point Mr D but I think the font still looks more like JE. Something about the 'S'
Also, have you tried to find a picture online where you can see the "son" on the neck label of a bottle Lanson ?

Winner gets a bottle of the other persons suggestion ;)

come on GK, which one is it ?

Yeah Shez, we want Jackson Estate Grey Ghost on the fab 2007 vintage, and kick all this other VdQs / VdP white wine utter dull dross into touch.

French oak, fab '07 fruit, brill JE wine making.

Shez, when I go to pick up our 2004 Drystone (Felton Road mix) CO PN, :) I will acquire a pair from Maj.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ side note:-

BTW Shez - that Dk '09 MSB is watery, when the tropical fruit flies away (you have to drink the whole bottle at one sitting), I'm left with unbalanced acidity, and plain ole cooking gooseberries, & may be a few other bits & pieces.

Yep, the "O" in Lanson is more oval, and as noticed, the "S" is slighhhhhtly different.

Didn't even look at who made the original post - just assumed it was you

Soz to take your credit from you Mr B

Woohoo - look at me being right :D

Duncan, good luck with that Grey Ghost. I have been tempted in the past but never comitted. The oak should have rounded off by now I think and will be an interesting drop (I have tried it once before at a tasting about a year ago but can't remember what my thoughts were)
Think Goose has a bottle or 2 of an older vintage.
Should be good stuff. Limited availablity.

When are you picking up your Drystone ? Hoping to stop off at my Maj for it tonight

Hey - Well done Shez, join the winners club :P

I'll be going down to my local on Fr'day night to collect that mature baby - I'm pretty revved-up to get a tongue around it. On the Ghost, gonna ask them to find some 2007 in the network, not on the site. Don't want any other vintage - must be '07 fruit. Friday night at my local can be good for half an hour or so, they usually break out the good'uns for tasting on FN. Well, ya need something to flatter Sat morning retail

If I find and get GG'07 will shout if it hits the spot. The same demand would be made if I could afford Te Koko.

Shez - did you drink a whole bottle of Te Koko on Xmas day as planned :wink .....or saved for uninterupted pleasure with a mate or two.
