M is the Roman numeral for 1000, whence the French derive their Mille. There seem to be a Multitude of wine terms beginning with M, from Macabeo to Must (including Mel, Mike, and Me). I thank the wine Mavens of this site for a Munificent first 1000 and look forward to Many More. I May also be looking forward to March, but I am certainly looking forward to May (without Monsoons of course). Merci Mes mecs. |
