Well, they're both very irritating.

My initial feeling for the farmhouse is California. Not Burg, unlikely Bdx, unless a second wine, not enough bumps for Wynns, so perhaps old school Aus. Thought about Antinori. It certainly rings a bell.

Am assuming the black one is an M or H and is a back label. 1910 must be the New World, surely.

Any ideas? I'm initially stumped, but will continue worrying it.

Are they wines we might have seen around, or even drunk?

Today is a Tuesday and so far no Bacchus instalment.

Maybe port for the farmhouse? Ugh.

Just received a glass of mulled wine. Perfect for the snowy conditions.

Yes. We're all meeting up in Stroud at midnight on Tuesday. We know this Master of Wine that lives there. We reckon she must have a pretty good wine celler.

We're gonna try and raid it.

Either that or the Bristol City Cardiff City FA Cup tie that was postponed on Saturday has been rescheduled for next Tuesday.

Yes, Ba, i'll be there.

Come on you bluuuuuuuuuuuues

I shall be here until 2300 or so. If you are independant of public transport, I can offer you warmth and refreshment.

Thanks Ba that's very kind of you but I shall be travelling ( weather permitting ) on a coach and will probably be escorted by your local friendly neighbourhood coppers to and from the ground.

Any comments along the lines of

" Excuse me officer any chance of nipping orf to the bridge club for a quick glass of sauvignon before the coach departs " is likely to be met with a smacked nose.

Not to mention a lot of piss taking from the rest of the boys.

I don't think this is right, but could it be the McGuigan Black Label's back label? Perhaps it's been redesigned recently?
