Just won three of these in the work draw.
£3.99 at Majestic, only one note found mentions loads of oak and to leave a few years !!
Any thoughts on this cracker

It is a weiiiiiird and complex blend, which (I believe) changes annually. I quite enjoyed 2 or 3, but it's difficult to describe. Not too sure about ageing though. |

The Freerun SB is good value as well. The Two Roads (another weird blend) however is DIRE...went down the sink. |

Thanks for warning. Flagstone have had some good write ups here. Is it fair to say that a wine described as "White" or, indeed "Red" is often rubbish. Winemakers are generally proud of their grapes and so if they aren't then there may be a problem. |

The label, as shown on the site, has the three main grape varieties on the front label. Bruce Jack is very proud of his grapes and is a consumist proponent of blending. |

Not sure if it was corked/oxed I still have two more in the cellar but these have been pushed into a dark corner waiting for another 5/10 years to find and wonder about how they taste !! I still have Cloudy Bay from 91/93/94 down there to try in the coming months/years !! |

Be interesting to see whether they've stood the test of time... Imagine it'll be pretty hit and miss (largely skewed towards the "miss" side) |
