Tis the season to be jolly. Have a good one all. I LIKE my turkey dry...goes in Xmas eve tea-time for 18 hrs.
A few yrs ago when a pal had had a rough divorce, we had a turkey, some wine, & some bread. Full stop. Did a Henry VIII "feast".

I'll be around too 8)

Dry turkey? no chance, mine is fully seasoned and spends eight hours in a slow cooker with a pint of stock and a good glug of white wine (just the crown). The oven is free for other festive delights.

Happy Christmas folks.
Will still be around for the next few days too....Image

am of for a quick smash'n'grab at Maj in a sec to see if there's anything else I need for the crimbo season - have a lack of fizz in the house at the moment (not that I'm personally bothered but gotta keep the ladies happy)

Gravy was done last night and now in the freezer so one less thing to do on the big day.
Might even use GG's super yorkie recipe tonight and freeze a few for reheating xmas if successful (yeah, I tend to only have em with beef myself but a) I wanna see if these work and b) my brother loves 'em!)
