To be honest, I deleted a few. I consider it not worth my time to list Cinzano, Mulled Wine, Bucks Fizz, Lambrini and Sovio. This is a wine website and it's mine.

Lulled into torpor by 2 hours in chair having hair coloured and cut. Need Tio Pepe to bring back my spark, but MUST wait until 6, or else.

Mel,

Someone at Tesco has messed up the cells in your spreadsheet.

You have some Port from USA
Montana MSB from Portugal
Harvey's Bristols from Oz

amusing for some, I'm not that bothered, Newbies perhaps :? The rest of them dont know anyway.

Relax. it's 18:15 you may have a fino on the rocks now

I do but can't have chaos.

Sorted, and the TP is still chilly.

Thanks,

How do you drink your Tio-P Mel?

I prefer off-dry to sweet sherry, dry Fino can be too salty, terpsy, abrasive. Know of any good cocktails/mixers?

Reason I ask, my local Tesco Metro downsized to an Express and sold off loads of stock, I picked up four bottles of TP for just £3.19 each. Even though I knew I probably wouldnt drink it, I just couldnt help myself at that price. One is already in a gift bag for someone.

What to do with the others?

The answer is straight forward:

Send to Mel and Me

Tio Pepe - salty ? I don't find that, I need my T. Buds examining

Not necessarily Tio-P, but dry Fino in general can have a saline edge, for me anyway.

I sometimes think it is to do with my mouth lining - since very dry lean and mean chab, cheap overdry champers and Montana basic '08 does that to me.

After nearly 40 years of enjoyment - I have learnt to shun the mean, lean and twisted dry whites - no pleasure. The 80's fashion for them is finished.

On the scale, Tio Pepe, the TP finish is nearer a 2 for me.
