Interesting article..

Winemakers in New Zealand, for example, have craftily managed to ride two bandwagons at once and are starting to produce sauvignon blanc rosé. It must have been a eureka moment: the Brits love Kiwi sauvignon (we're its biggest consumers) and they love rosé. Make some of the former, add a splash of syrah and, bingo, you have some of the latter.

Anyone tried a NZ SB Rosé yet?

Yes, there's one at Majestic. I rather liked it, but other wine writers were grumbling.

Mel, did you prefer the Southbank at Majestic to The Reach at Tesco.

Rose that is.

Don't think I've tried The Reach rose. Unless you know I have.

I thought they both came up in your last New World Rose tastings.

You complemented both but didn't give a preference.

Tesco online have the Southbank Estate Marlborough sb and the rose priced up at £10 each.

A mistake ...surely to God !
