Houston, we have a problem. On advice, I have put a proper thermometer in my fridge. On a middling setting it varies between -0.2 and +11 degrees c. That explains a lot. Bah!

Following cleaning the area for the new fridge, the rest of the kitchen looked frightful. Now I do clean my kitchen every 3 yrs whether it needs it or not but have started the 2 week marathon early. Couldn't face the microwave though so bought a new one. I now have a fully-fitted semi-professional batchelor-gay set up again. Fridge, freezer and microwave.
