MAJESTIC PURCHASE SENSATIONAL SWISS PARCEL

Tony Mason has done it again!

If you remember our Swedish parcels in 1997, 1998 and 2000, then you'll be very interested to learn that Tony Mason, Majestic's Trading Director has managed to secure a sizeable parcel of mature, well-priced claret from one of Europe's most reputable wine dealers. Based in Switzerland, this dealer has recently been acquired by an international conglomerate and is rationalising its stock. As a result we have been able to negotiate some very keen prices. All these wines have been lying in air-conditioned cellars since release from the various ch?teaux, all are from the mid-90s, and all are in optimum condition.

The selection of Cru Bourgeois is impeccable - properties include Andron Blanquet, Bernadotte, La Tour de Mons, Lanessan, Cos Labory, de la Riviere, Prieure Lichine, Maucaillou, Clos L'Eglise, Phelan Segur and 2nd wines of many great classified Ch?teaux.

The parcel also includes many Fine Wines which will be available from our Fine Wine store in St John's Wood, such as:

- Ch?teau Clos du Marquis 1995, 2nd Leoville Lascasses - ?29.00 - 900 bottles
- Ch?teau La Dominique 1998, St-Emilion Grand Cru Class? - ?29.00 - 1200 bottles
- Pavillon Rouge de Ch?teau Margaux 1997, Margaux - ?25.00 - 1300 bottles

The parcel comprises of 108,839 units (halves, bottles and magnums), mainly packed in wood. The vintages range from 1994 to 2000. Most of the lines are between 20 and 50 dozen and are allocated such that whilst all Majestic stores will have a good selection, particular Cru Bourgeois properties will only be available in selected stores.

This is an exclusive one-off parcel, which by its nature is limited in availability.
