Edit: Oh, and at least make the beer option more appealing than cooking lager !

I have enjoyed twice, a West-end Italian lunchtime indulgence, female courgette flowers basted in super light batter made with beer foam and then shoved into a super hot brick oven for 20 seconds, this at an expensive and rather trendy restaurant . They called them Zuchini something ? Mel will know - amazing delicacy.

I don't actually cook with it but rather use the phrase to describe watery tastless cr*p like the carlings and fosters of this world that aren't fit to drink :qofyuk:

GK and Shezza can't stop experimenting, you could or want or think you should stop, and me wants to cut down on disappointment, when seeking a Revelation in a bottle for £9.99 Duh !

Goose - What about those 89 Loire's Huh. The peppery and hot stones 78 Rhone's still drive me to search for an inkling of that. I had a 78 Cote-Rotie Blonde en Brune that spoilt for ever and a day, what I could want from a rocky and steep slope. But then .....

I would find it near impossible to stop wanting to try new styles, regions and recco's from people I trust. There is just so much out there, Germany for example, I would love to try more German wines, visit the wine producing regions and learn more about their history and classification system. Then Austria. Then....

To me, wine is more than just a drink, I think Maya summed it up perfectly when she said...
