Merry Christmas folks.

Remember to stay within the Government recommended units consumption over the festive period. Or not.

Glad you like the card M, You're using the QO log on today M, is that in a clandestine move for wine agents ?

BTW, The Wolf Blass presidents selection Cab is half decent and very decent for the dosh - thanks for the tip-off.
A bit muddy and grainy at low water, but I'm hoping that the 4 I shall lay down, will settle the mud into purple shale, and the rest may cling to the bottle with any luck. 2005 was good for generic stuff as well it seems, the flavour will come thru clean when settled. At the mo, a murky pond.

PS, Don't drink this too cool, otherwise you may prefer to paint fence posts with it  .

Yes, sorry about the log on. Sometimes I have to dress up as a ranger to get admin done as it doesn't work if you log on in a skirt.

Roasted some plum tomatoes (skirt back on, can you tell?) for 50 mins, then added mackerel fillets, lemon zest, olive oil S&P and continued for about 10 mins. Served on toast with watercress and some of those large capers. Served with La Gitana Manzanilla.

Lovely.

Huge list of Waitrose tasting notes coming in the next 24 hours.
