The above offer has appeared on the Winedirect website this morning - applies until Tuesday 4th November.

As usual you have to buy a case, but seems it can be mixed

Free delivery also

Don't know if the offer applies in-store - no indication on the main website (that i can find) that it does

I have no connection with Waitrose other than as a customer

Hi,

I went straight for this one, see link, as both vintages are Yummy and guess what....... ? However, happy hunting.

If anyone has a favourite on the Waitrose site, that is considered a real star for the dosh...... Please say so, having bought all that you want of course !

Not at all Mel- 'tis better to be told twice than not to be told at all..

3 points on the offer:-

-as Duncan notes, some stuff seems to be going fast

-real discount is 20% not 25%, as they always give 5% on the (compulsory) case

-despite the offer, not all wines seem to have the discount, e.g. Spanish reds. Where the discount applies, it is flagged in red.

It's in the stores, not just the website.

This Graves from Pessac, just south west of the city of Bordeaux, was the best of the claret deals for the money, and was the excellent 2005 and Louis Lurton, Andre's dad, so a quality and traditional style. I looked in the afternoon and there was stock, now it is all gone.

It is blindingly apparent that there are many good folk who know the vintages.

When they are gone, they are gone.....However as Mel says, you could try the larger Stores.
