The Waipara has finally made it to the next price level of £38.50/£6.42 per bottle

I've noticed they now ask for £10 initial payment rather than £1. I guess a lot of people were forgetting/not bothering to use the vouchers when it only cost them a quid

Shez, I think you may have the marketing logic slightly wrong there. Tesco would be happy enough to keep the quid entry fee for free. What may have upset Tesco, was that folks were not bothering to buy the wine ! Particularly if entry bidders didn't get enough co-buyers to join them for a freebe case at the end. A free bottle amongst four or more co buyers who did not complete, is easily worth a quid

Also, there would be other buyers whose cards had gone overdrawn, so they pulled out, and only lost a quid in the process. A tenner concentrates the mind of a co-buyer applicant.

Interestingly, and on the 1st Time I entered a Co-buy, my card provider contacted me thinking ............... It being such a tiny amount !

Shez, I've editted this post - cheers for now
