Apparently Gallo have introduced a sweet red with 3 table spoons of sugar in it - 17 grams residual

This is a starter red for those who are just turning 18 years. The wine has a brand name beginning with A, can't remember, Californian brand names are perhaps a little weird. I thought of Apocolypse - but then again, taste buds may have to start somewhere, rather than end with the big bang. However, most UK guys of my generation started on Best Bitter, so is this a product that will be pushed in England ? Who knows, the kids filtch Mum and Dad's De Kyper cherry brandy from the sideboard when they are nine. All this, about two years after they've taught Nana to use an iPad
