Buy 6 lovely nice bottles of Hopping Hare from the CoOp. Take home. Drink one straight away. It's tastes as it should. Leave the other 5 under the kitchen lights for an hour. Open a bottle, pour, taste, curse. empty down sink. Repeat 4 times. Cry

That'll teach you for leaving your beers in the room where you grow your skunk.

Surely leaving them in the kitchen for an hour shouldn't ruin them?
Couldn't you have thrown one in the fridge to see if it improved matters?

I kept an inch or so in three of the bottles and left them in the fridge overnight. They were still as bad. Maybe they had skunked in the store but the first bottle was fine. Before this I think I have only ever had three skunked bottles of any beer. All Hopping Hares have been fine.

I bottled fourty pints of Muntons Midas Touch ale two weeks ago, I'll be trying the first bottle this evening, and possibly the second & third.
