Have had an email about Virgin's Blockbuster Sale which (I kid you not) "must end Sunday".

Possibly worth reading my article on the subject, if you were going to place an order.

I know that i'm not the type of person that Virgin want wandering about their wine website but I have to say that their site is all that is wrong about the UK wine world.

A humble, mass produced South American sb is sold....

If you're a fan of Cloudy Bay and Sancerre then you'll love this as it's made from the same grape variety, is made within sight of a mountain and a river and is tailor made for today's taste.

All reasons why this wine is such fantastic value at £8.99

Plus their offers are dreadful...still, many will be lured !

Yeah.....Pitch your tent on the farm at Silverstone and experience what it is like behind the wheel of a F1 car

Sadly, the quaint little farm in the middle of the circuit has gone, now that the brand new pits, the curvy roofed International Building, and the starting grid have been relocated.

Never-the-less, thanks for letting us know Mel. It's 25% OFF for 6 week. But remember, that excludes Fine Wine @ Tesco wine online.

Estate Agent quote of the week:

He added: "And can I just say that compared to the fucked up shit happening today people like me seem like a twee, PG Wodehouse throwback to a gentler, more humane age."

I've driven an open-wheel single-seater round Brands, great, great fun. How was you w/e at Silverstone? Don't think I could stand the crowds.
