my local Majestic is conveniently a blackspot for my phone reception so was unable to have a look here for a write up
Took the guy's word for the Composite still having legs and I shouldn't have.

I'll return the other bottle along with a bottle of Lindauer Brut I bought thinking it was on offer but only to find you have to buy 2 of the same bottle (I also bought a bottle of SR which was discounted as a solo)

Maybe I'm imagining things but I'm sure in the past at Maj often I've bought 2 from the region and the discount would apply but it seems that you have to buy 2 of the same wine for most offers....

Anyway, the JE was very good and I have a bottle of the 07 that I bought just before xmas of 09 that I'll leave another few years before opening
Was about £14 from £17 back then but now seems to be £20 at full px and offered around £17 at Maj for current vintage 2008
the joke is that Waitrose sell it for £16 at full price !

Yeah Shez, the Lindauer Brut ! Two Lind fizz from NZ gets the disco alright.

Tell the guy on the till, that there is an ugly guy on Quaffers who will run a muck here, unless you get the offer across both bottles

You're a great customer, that guy is motivated to move dead '08 Ara, than to serve your requirements

I'll just switcch the brut for the SR and take the sigle bottle disco...

yeah, disappointed that the guy did rate the Ara. He's not someone I've spoken to much in the past (if ever) and don't think I hold the regular customer status at my Maj that you do at yours as I've used a few different branches

A Jekyl & Hyde jobby. One minute it's great, the next it's off kilter. Have enjoyed some Verdejo recently and the SB in here balances it a bit. May have a bit of fluey thing left over 'cos this one is not too good.

Not like exactly but appreciate. Complicated, and hard to nail down. Strange combo of tastes. One bottle now and then is a pleasant challenge bur it's not a buy-6 jobby.
