Is this the worst value wine club around? (except for Vigin Wines )

Look closely at the wines, it's mostly bog-standard Tesco plonk that spends most of it's life heavily discounted in one form or another. Once the initial discounted case is out of the way, you're looking at regularly over-paying for a case you could put together yourself in store for a much lower cost.

For anyone thinking of signing up, you may wish to consider the M&S club first.
