From Francois Martenot, 12.5° and perfectly acceptable. Light in colour but quite firm in the mouth. Back label mentions 'aniseed' (didn't notice any) and 'ionic' Ionic ??? Wossat ??? It's Chab alright and it needs to be a the right temp when it is pleasant enough. Trubble is, this is new and on offer. Ocado (same maker, different vineyard, same price and also new & on offer) say it's 'half-price' and will become £13.50...ha ! no way José. Fine at the offer price. I'll get some more. |

Also W/R Macon Village on offer. Sains TtD just come off. All good at reduced price. |

2018 now. £14 - 3 -25% = £8.75. Beaune bottled and fine at that price. Would not want to pay too much more but am enjoying this one on Xmas night. |
