This is wonderful.
Off dry, sweet even but the sugar kinda fits this wine. Pungent nose of smoky slatey minerals and grapey fruit. Taste matches the nose.
Highly sophisticated grape juice.

I still rate this as a highly enjoyable wine but Tesco's £4.49 German Spatlese is it's equal. Why am I suddenly liking cheap German wines. |
