Thanks for confirming that G. That is pretty much what Cupbearer said about the so called special reserve PN sparkling at £13.99 a pop on the Waitrose site. She is pretty reliable, especially for chablis, burgundies and french classics Ordinary ** 2 stars This has an unusually deep blush, making it almost rose. Otherwise it's uninteresting. Smells of jammy dodgers, with acceptable mousse and acidity. I did have a bottle in stock, but got rid of it for somebodies Summer afternoon party, I saved myself the bother. If it's fizzy and from NZ, spent 30 minutes in the freezer and covered in condensation, it will attact the masses. A 100 numpties on the MW reviews give 4-5 stars . . . . . Lindauer, was once satisfactory ? |
