...WRONG...Pinot Gris. Times club £11. Very fruity on the nose, apples, pears and stonefruit. However, the spice kicks in at first taste. One of the more powerful type and enjoyable as an aperitif or with food, Could well deal with hard nutty cheese as well. Really good at the disco price that I paid...but £11...??? |

Stonewall - that's the Forrest Estate isn't it ? Yeah, John Forrest & Mike Judd are the winemakers, is that right Ba ? The've been doing the job there for a good while. I was impressed with the concentration of his Wairau MSB vintage '09, probably too rich for some, but superb with food as well as a sipping appero - a good hit of tropical fruit flavours. This wine also from Sunday Times / Laithwaites. These are stronger money though, but they don't fail to impress. |

Yep. Forrest it is. This, their SB and others are available from the distributors, Adnams. Adnams prices are better, and a free delivery over £50. |
