The winemaker has worked in S. America and France. Returning to the Wairau he lives in a black cottage.
A bit pale but lots of fruity nose. A bit acidic and has a touch of frizz. Nice enough, if you like your SB a bit racier, but in this war-zone of MSBs is not up to the Ned or the 2 VMs.
Will certainly try the '13 in the hope that it's a bit more restrained.

I had this a few months ago. Not sure if it was 2012 or 11 but I thought it quite good. Like an acidic version of the Cono Sur 20 Barrels at Tesco.

It absolutely thrashes The Ned 13 and is close between this and the CS for 2nd.

WR thrashes the lot.

Tis the boss ....but I wonder if JE 12 in time will be a match.
