One of those rare occasions where ones expectations are exceeded. Lovely stuff. Will get a few more soon.

The 2005 vintage of this remains one of my all time fav sb's. It's been disappointing ever since..

I will try one more vintage.

1 bottle ordered. The Paul Thomas Chavignol Sancerre 2012 is very very good at £13.99 or £12.99 for 2 so I only need dabble with the odd less expensive Loire offering.

3x VM WR 2012 1x VM CS 2012 and an Oyster Bay sparkling pink jobby I am expecting sugar and candy floss but it's a gift for an 18 year old girlie so sugar and candy floss will no doubt be ' oooh lovely '

Cloudy Bay Pelorus rose NV is off their list :-(

Good choices Goose.

I'm interested in the coteaux Giennois '12 - Good post Mr Ba. That dom Villargeau is run by Marc Thibault and his sons. Good produucers with a reputation to maintain. The same wine gets strong accolades from members of the Wine Society, so your palate Ba, is on song at the moment !

Pelorus rose' is not produced in big volumes, so G......Picking from another store may be possible.
There are folks who buy the Oyster bay PN ? So the candyfloss is obviously for you Goose ! Coming-up with that lame excuse is not going to wash here.

Enjoy your MSB - Ba says NED 13 is tidy. The rev Viognier said the '13 sauvignon blanc harvest would be good, and he's got family in NZ. So maybe - One dimensional mouth wash is off the menu for a while

Now you look here, MrD !

Trying to replace Cloudy Bay Pelorus with Oyster Bay would be like trying to replace the Welsh Rugby team with the England football team.

I would not do such a thing.

I might accept a glass if offered though. Just to satisfy any idle curiosity .

As Mr D mentioned, the new Ned is good and has potential as well.

Got a phone call to say that the 2012 CduG was oos so I cancelled the order and went in. I ended up buying 1x VM WR 2012 1x VM CS 2012 1x Ned 2013 1x Kuhlmann Platz gewurz 2012 1x SC Pioneer Block 20 ( not the 21 as advertised on website ) and 1x Manay Menetou Salon ( can this be over sulphured again ).
