This is becoming a useful toe in the water to see what the new vintage will be like. The 2012 was light, excessively acidic but with a lovely underlying flavour of blackcurrant that was hopelessly floored by the acid. The flavour though foretold of a good vintage in Marlborough. The 2013 is richer, spritzy with a flavour of lemon grass or custard apple as Oz would have it. This foretells of a ripe and full bodied vintage that will suit Shezza more than me. Back to the 2012's....... |

What amazes me is that people must buy these rips-off, or the site would not be there. 'Spose it only takes a few sales to make a profit though. |
