I guess we shouldn’t expect too much from a five pound wine these days and the price of this particular wine reflects its lean personality, or should that read delicate?

Too thin to be taken seriously as a Gavi, the ripe apple is replaced by a sharp, but not unpleasant nutty-lemon flavour that grows in length as the wine warms in the glass, however it struggles to shake off the pithy, under-ripe fruit extract. File under Pinot Grigio.
