How long have you got, I feel a 'Dunc' coming on.
It's very unusual, it's got a story behind it, and it's under a fiver.
Mayu, in the ancient tongue, means Milky Way (I knew those S, Americans liked chocky).
The three names (Ximenes, Gimenes, Jimenes) are either the same grape or they're not. The jury is still out.
This wine is produced where the day temp is mucho scorchio, and the nights at this altitude very cold. The grape is also prone to several deseases.
Surprisingly dry, with hints of all sorts of stuff. Spiced apple, oaky orange, and even a breath of tcp. Weird, likeable, cheap, and a good talking point.

You're working hard to keep us informed. That's good. I like your speil on this, an interesting wine for a fiver is worth knowing.

Post year end deals - Prices have been gathering pace for the classics in the 1st Third of 2013 :(
