Yep, gammon tonight from local butcher, with a couple of free range eggs perched on top.

I’ve just got back from the plot, pulled up another parsnip... 'tis as big as my leg. The cabbage is just delicious at the mo, and the opening sprout greens- mixed with kale and a knob of butter. Simply gorgeous.

Cheers GK, :)
Another goody to go on the shopping list for the 25% doggy bag next week. 2007 CdR Villages, lovely jubbly.

GK , I'm very impressed with your produce, my mediteranean style crops are done in, except sweet peppers in the greenhouse. I had to compost the Aubergine plants, even though they were huge - polination failure ?

You cant beat a proper allotment. The quality you get GK is only available from Fortnum & Mason.

Found it now, nowhere near where I thought. It's on the (now) bye-pass (A38) at Minworth. Think it's an Asda now.

This was a joke, right. Surely you guys can not be serious. Decanted it and waited an hour. Vinegar at best. Couldn't even finish a quarter glass. One down five to go...
