This delicious wine is reduced at Tesco from ?7.03 to ?5.03 until 10 Aug. This is what I felt about it a few weeks ago. We also had it with our supper last night.

Gerard Bertrand Terroir, AC Coteaux du Languedoc 2001 is ?7.03 from Tesco and was superb. It had a strong smell of toasted coconut and was perfectly balanced in the mouth. It had tannin, but just enough, acidity to make it clean, bags of fruit but it wasn't sickly sweet. It had coffee, liquorice and caramelised plums. Dennis said ?it has everything ? wow?. "
