Junk wine. There to rip off Sainsbury's duller customers like the plonker who bought this and kindly gave me a glass.

No and no.

Dry but not crisp. Oily textured with fruit but no minerality.

Typical Sainsbury Christmas wine.

A new animal has been born...TSCW...file it, use it. Typical Sainsbury Xmas Wine...and so goes evolution.

They didn't show it at the press tasting, or if they did I wasn't tempted, which is unlikely because I like to report back to you goosebloggs

I bought a 6 bottle mix at Sainsburys tonight and unfortunately this was one of them

I um'd and ahh'd about what to get and this was one of them hoping it was the Sancerre that got the good reviews (whereas it seems Domaine de la Perrière Sancerre is what I should have looked out for)

so either I gamble and drink it hoping that this is another see saw situation where Goose doesn't like but someone else does or I go and take it back and get something else

Also got a Bouchard Pinot Noir 2008 which Mel didn't rate too well.

Out of interest, anyone know what would happen if I asked for money back ? Will they bear in mind the 25% off applied to the other bottles purchased too ?
