Just purchased this at Tesco for 3.99. We drank the 2004 last winter which was excellent; blackberry and blackcurrant, with a very spicy clove-like finish. Would happily have paid a tenner for it. If this is anywhere near as good it's a steal.

Tried last night. Intense blackberry fruit with a long sweet vanilla finish. Almost none of the spiciness that characterized the '04. This is not special, nor is it to my taste, but there are many less impressive wines for ?3.99 [but not for the full price of ?7.99].
