Multi gold medal winner.

Grapefruit and lemon. Very atypical for Marlborough. Could pass for a nice but dull £4.99 Chilean.

5.5/10 for the wine...1/10 for the value.

Do not buy.

Damning reports for Saint Clair !

Goose, what therefore, am I to do with this wine ?
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 6 "Oh! Block" Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc 2008.

I have 3 in stock, bought on recommendations made on this forum, and cross referenced to Bob Campbel's tasting notes. These are currently being saved for Spring 2010 drinking. Hmnnn , not impressed, they were expensive SB wines !

Do they go back to Majestic ? Or do I hang on to them. I'm not in the habit of buying duff bottles at £12 a go. It goes against the grain

The Oh 6 is a better wine than the lightweight 18. I'd keep them.

I have two as well.

Thank you kindly Goose. I will report back my opinion if I have one this Autumn.

I think the Oh! Block 08 is a stunner, but I like the crisp acidicity and I won't be keeping mine but drinking and enjoying the freshness.
