Co-Op are running a wine festival, a few of the wines that caught my interest were,-

ANGOVES BEAR CROSSING BIN 121 SHIRAZ 2005 @ ?3.49 -was ?6.99
VILLA LONTANA CHIANTI RISERVA 2002 @ ?3.99 -was ?7.99

I bought and opened the Villa Lontana this evening, pleasant, uncomplidated, soft fruit- raspberry, very dry, a little white pepper in the finish. Has aging potential, should soften up over time. Went well with Shepherd's Pie.

Will try the Las Moras next.
