I received an email for that one the other day too. I know a few people like the protege range but don't know anyone who has tried this particular blend
I imagine it's very drinkable and ticks all the boxes of an Aussie Shiraz cab. Not one that interests me however

I understand / hitherto understood that the Tim's Protege' range is a volume / price range filler, and was intially released as a wine that fits the under £10 per bottle market. The continuing devaluation of the Australian dollar may be helping some Oz producers though.

I prefer his classic range with the entry level Fergus but have not bought for quite a while. Aberfeldy is his top line Shiraz.
